A Philadelphia jury has awarded $1.7 million to a woman in a whistleblower case who contended she was fired from her job in retaliation for raising concerns about her boss. The plaintiff worked for the Kintock Group, a corporation that provides transition services to ex-convicts who have recently been released from prison. She alleged she was fired after raising concerns about drug use and other policy violations by her boss.
